In memory of Tzvika Levy, father of the lone soldiers.
Hamsa is a five-year all-encompassing experience for young olim who wish to join the IDF. This enveloping experience was created as the fruit of the collaboration between KKL-JNF, the Jewish Agency for Israel, and the Kibbutz Movement. Hamsa was founded with the goal of providing a thorough and continuously supportive program starting from their arrival in Israel, throughout their service, and continuing into one year after the end of their service as they make their first steps into reintegrating within the Israeli civilian society.
Just like the Hamsa symbol, the Hamsa program protects and supports the lone soldiers who come to serve in the IDF.
